Masterclass on “Posting Inventory Movement Documents in Jumis”
|
Objective of the masterclass: To learn how to post inventory movement documents in financial accounting in Jumis and how to control inventory accounting data.
In the masterclass, we will prepare posting templates for inventory movement documents, post purchase, sales, return, revaluation, write-off, and production documents, analyze the resulting accounting entries, and compare warehouse inventory movement and balance data with financial accounting data.

Posting templates for purchase documents:
- Methods of posting purchase delivery notes: by document, item type, additional costs, VAT, and other amounts;
- Posting additional costs when they are received from another partner;
- Posting inventory revaluation when increasing or decreasing the accounting value of goods;
- Posting transfers of goods between warehouses;
- Posting returns of purchased goods;
- Comparing the warehouse purchase report with the general ledger.

Posting templates for sales documents:
- Methods of posting sales delivery notes: by document, item type, VAT, and other amounts;
- Writing off the cost of goods sold;
- Posting goods write-off documents;
- Posting returns of sold goods;
- Comparing the warehouse sales report with the general ledger.

Posting templates for production documents:
- Posting the write-off of raw materials used in the processing operation and the receipt of finished goods produced;
- Posting the write-off of raw materials and the receipt of assembled finished goods during product assembly;
- Posting the write-off of goods used at production and work execution sites;
- Comparing the warehouse production report with the general ledger.

Control of inventory and financial accounting data:
- Comparing warehouse stock balances with general ledger account balances by warehouse at the beginning and end of the period;
- Comparing goods received and issued with the debit and credit turnover of warehouse accounts in the general ledger;
- Finding errors when warehouse and financial accounting data do not match.
